I have FZ38 and its really great camera. Well one thing I don’t like about it is Auto mode. Sometimes it tends to calculate scene wrongly and you have to set aperture higher or lower. But you can get great results if using Manual mode. I compared it with my older sony V3 which has bigger sensor and smaller number of pixels and it almost always get better pictures outside when using auto mode than fz38. Also sony has more realistic colours that panasonic.

Hi I have this camera but I have a problem! I’ve recorded some videos using AVCHD and when I try to store them in my computer they don’t even show up! I just want to save them… I installed the photofunstudio 4.0 hd program that comes with the camera and now I’m able to see the files but I can’t open them if I’m not using the program! what should I do or what am I doing wrong!? All I want to do is be able to save the videos in hd and use them, upload them and work with them….Thank you
